Biography:
My name is Hassan Nawaz and I am a PhD exchange student at University of Pittsburgh, USA. I completed my Master's degree in Environmental Sciences at Government College University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. Currently, I'm pursuing my PhD (last year) in Environmental Sciences under the joint guidance of Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim (Government College University, Faisalabad, Pakistan) and Dr. David Sanchez (University of Pittsburgh- USA). My research focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and environmental applications of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs), particularly their potential for removing heavy metals and emerging pollutants from water. My recent publication demonstrates the effectiveness of MOFs in tackling arsenic contamination in water.
