Mahdi Hosseini

Biography:

Dr. Mahdi Hosseini is currently working as a full time Professor (Associate) in the Department of Building Engineering ,College of Civil Engineering, Nanjing Forestry University, China. He was born in 1988. He did his Pre-University (12th) in Mathematical Science from Shahed Pre-univ Center(Iranian Distinguished School), Iran in 2006. Later he Received his Bachelor of Engineering with Distinction in Civil Engineering from Azad University, Iran in 2010 and Later he Received  his Master of Technology (M.Tech.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree in Structural Engineering with Grade “A” First Class with Distinction from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India in 2014 & 2019 Respectively. JNTU is the first–ever Technological University in India with NAAC “A” Grade Credit. Dr. Mahdi earned his Postdoctoral with Distinction from, College of Civil Engineering, Nanjing Forestry University, China.

Dr. Mahdi has Published 71 well-researched scholarly papers as first or corresponding author in peer reviewed, refereed reputed International Journals and Conferences, Indexed in SCI, Web of Science ,ISI, Elsevier ,Scopus, UGC, etc. and his Cumulative Impact factor CIF : 316. He has filed and granted with 4 Patent. Actively Participated Several Workshop and Conference with the role of Keynote Speakers and Expert Member. He has won Several Awards/ Prizes/Certificates. To name  a few , “International Distinguished Researcher Award” , “Best Scientific Researcher”, “Best Young Scientist Award” , “Best Young Researcher in Structural Engineering”, “Award for Excellence in Research”, “Outstanding Researcher Award” ,“Honorary Higher Doctorate Degree of D.Litt. (Doctor of Letters) California Public University, USA” , Gold Medalist, Topper and Distinguished Master & Ph.D. Student of India and Subcontinent by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran., “Distinguished  Researcher  Award” ,“Innovative Technological Research (Civil Engg.) Award” , “Dedicated Professional Engineer Award” , “Best Invention Award , Silver Medal and A Special Prize, Geneve ,Switzerland” etc.
He is a Fellow / Life Member/ Senior Member/ Member  in more than 73 Professional and Service Oriented Bodies including MASCE (USA), MACI(USA), MIRED(USA), FERC(USA),MWASET(USA),DPC (USA), ISOC(USA), AASCIT(USA), MSCIEI(USA),  IGS(USA),   MISE(UK), MASDF(UK), MIALCCE(Italy), MIAENG(China), MHKCBEES(China), MISET(India), LMISTE(India), LMIMS(India), LMISIAM(India), LMFSI(India), FSIESRP(India), ISSE(Iran),ICI(Iran),ISEE(Iran), IIIS (Iran) , IMS(Iran),YRCIAU(Iran) , etc.

He is an Editor-in-Chief / Editor / Editorial Board Member / Reviewer of more than 268 Peer Reviewed, Refereed Reputed International Journal, He reviewed more than 100 articles for the International peer reviewed journals. He was Successfully Completed Several Certificate Courses by prestigious organization such as an Elsevier, Academy Europe, European Open University, etc.

His research interest is in Structural Dynamics of Linear and Nonlinear Systems, Tall Building, Seismic Analysis and Design of Building Systems, including Reinforced Concrete, Steel and Masonry, Finite Element Analysis, Earthquake Engineering, Composite Structures (CFRP, GFRP, AFRP etc.).
