Biography:
Dr Michael Xianfeng Chen received his MSc and PhD from National University of Singapore and University of Oxford, respectively. He is currently working in the Institute for Bioengineering in the School of Engineering at The University of Edinburgh as a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering. Dr Chen’s research is focused on biomaterials, biomedical engineering, and the application of nanomaterials in biology and medicine. He has published > 120 papers in peer-reviewed journals, with an h-index of 55 and > 7500 citations. Additionally, he has 3 book chapters and 12 granted patents in drug delivery technologies.
