Biography:
Muhammad Shahid is a Materials Engineer by profession and currently working as a full time Professor at National University of Sciences and Technology. He completed BSc in Metallurgical Engineering in 1983 (Pakistan) followed by MS and _PhD from UK in 1988 and 1991, respectively. He served in industry for about 15 years before moving to Academia in 2001. He is involved in teaching and project supervision at UG and PG levels. He supervised 45 UG FYDPs, 50 MS and 6 PhD students. His major areas of research include metals and alloys, corrosion, and composite materials.
