Biography:
Dr.Muhammad.Yaqub is a Professor of Structural Forensic Engineering at the University of Engineering & Technology Taxila, Pakistan and he did serve as Director Advanced Studies and Technological Development. He has more than 25Years of Teaching/Research/Consultancy Experience in the Field of Civil Engineering in General and Structural Engineering in Particular. His main Specialties in Structural Forensic Engineering especially in Strength Evaluation of Existing Structures Damaged by Extreme Loadings (Fire &Earthquakes) using latest Non-Destructive and Load Testing Techniques. He has Expertise in Strengthening, Retrofitting, Repairing, and Rehabilitation of Concrete Structures Damaged by Extreme Loadings (Natural Disasters such as Earthquakes, Floods, Accidental Damages such as over loading, Malicious Attacks and Fire) using Traditional Materials and Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP) Composites. His Research Interest Involves Rehabilitation Techniques for the Longevity of Existing Structures and Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Infrastructure Development with a Particular Emphasis on Environmentally Friendly Materials and Practices. He is Author of More than Seventy Research Papers in Peer Reviewed International, National Journals and International Conferences. He is a Member/Registered Structural Consultant of Pakistan Engineering Council. Member of American Concrete Institute Structural and Material Journals
